You can get disaster ready in 2023 and NHWNC is here to help! We hosted a FREE Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) class on 6 Thursdays from March 2 to April 6, 5-7:30pm.
This free, in person class was taught by LAFD Firefighters Ted Debs and Randy Opperman, (213) 202-3136 and held at our very own Mid Valley Regional Library.
The session included these topics:
Class 1 – MAR 2 (Introduction, Disaster Awareness)
Class 2 – MAR 9 (ICS and Disaster Psychology)
Class 3 – MAR 16 (Disaster Medical Operations 1)
Class 4 – MAR 23 (Disaster Medical Operations 2)
Class 5 – MAR 30 (Fire Suppression and Hazardous Materials)
Class 6 and 7 – APR 6 (Light Search and Rescue) (Terrorism & CERT)
