February 3 @ 10:00 am – 3:30 pm FREE
On Saturday, February 3, a special public event to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the Northridge earthquake will be held at California State University Northridge (CSUN). The event is organized with City of Los Angeles Councilman John Lee, the City of Los Angeles Emergency Management Department, the Statewide California Earthquake Center, and many other partners to remember the lessons and losses of 1994 and to improve safety and resilience today.
The event will showcase Quake Heroes, a new motivational documentary that blends Hollywood storytelling with real-life heroism from January 1994. The film was created by SCEC with support from FEMA and many sponsors to inspire individual and community resilience.
Expo Location: CSUN’s University Student Union (Northridge Center Building)
Parking: Parking will be in G3 parking structure entrance (enter via Matador Rd, from Nordhoff St.). Directions and free parking passes will be emailed to registrants.
