Van Nuys Airport, VNY, Citizens Action Committee Meeting

LAWA is on the next stage of their “Vision Study”. This phase is the selection of the “preferred land use alternative”. This is very premature as there hasn’t been any formal environmental studies regarding this nor has there been any real community engagement.

For only the 2nd time in 13 years, the CAC is allowing citizens from the community to give a presentation! It’s imperative that we have a HUGE turn out to show LAWA that we are in solidarity! Van Nuys Airport needs to listen to the residents in the surrounding communities that are adversely affected by the noise and air pollution.
